DISCIPLINA LIMITAR – Ausencia Ganadora LP (Flexidiscos) Unlike the usual go-for-the-throat approach, this record toys with its prey, choosing instead to whip you into a frenzy over these eleven total stompers before you realize you’ve been hopelessly tied to the tracks since that first locomotive drums-and-bass line. I dunno how they do things in Valencia, but if making a near-flawless blend of post-punk and hardcore that makes you wanna sing along as you jump through the dinner table is part of their culture, I’m due for an educational visit.
