Tobias, of the Berlin based band “Diät” sent me some tunes that he wrote together with his companion Adam. Their duo, “Young Team” recorded five weird tracks for their demo EP that comprise post-punk and experimental vibes and angry, pissed off, dark spoken word vocals, tackling modern world problems and society issues, that we can all nod our heads to. When I first heard it, I wondered what planet they came from. I really like putting out first songs bands write, there is always something magical in it. I’ts a special one for everyone who feels alien in their own life. Or, to quote some of Adams lyrics:


I guess I just cannot compete with these
Lefty internet celebrities
Rather keep my face anonymous
Sometimes ego gets the best of us
